I went to SASA & Bonjour, they show me some expensive cosmectic massage oil that will cost you HK$500++ for a little tiny bottle.


I used to purchase the oil from overseas which is much cheaper.
In HK at Body shop and Loccitance. But I find it expensive in the long run due to the volume vs price.

Anybody know where to get reasonably good effective aromotheraphy massage oil in HK? Preferably not too expensive and in big bottle > 1 litre?

These bottles always costs about HK$500 each but being a man, think you can make do with just J&J's baby oil if you want cheap. Only the cheap massage oils come in 1 Liter bottles. In China, there are some brands with a lavender fragrance which I've tried and not too bad. Even these are about $100 for a small bottle.

I used to import massage oil from Thailand a few years back but they don't do 'small' quantities any more !

Yes, like you say,  massage oil is expensive in HK but I found Mannings just started selling massage oil
under their own brand name recently, selling at $70 a bottle or close to that ... already tried it out and seems OK.
Not all manning stores carries this so you'll need to ask.

And in china , when they said they offer aromatheraphy oil, it is fucking fake and will cause skin irritation.

I usually carry my own, survival kits.

I bought like 6 bottles from India last year. Finish.
It was cheap in terms of quality and even better than L'occitance / Bodyshop, make from sasame white sasame oil.

I will check manning and Bonjour again.


As for baby oil and those footsie cream, forget it....that shit sucks and smell bad.

... there are only two types of massage oils that are supposed to be used for massage.  Vegetable/seed oils (yes pretty much the same stuff you use to cook) and highly refined mineral oils such as JJ baby oil or even Castor Oil (the stuff you take when you need to clean out your bowels).  All those fancy oils are actually only walnut or linseed oils and at times refined scented thin mineral oils.  The stuff you can't wash off is usually some type of cheap unrefined mineral oil mixed with "vitamin E" which is actually a fancy term for vegetable oil.  

I've noticed that Bonjour sells aftermarket and gray market stuff such as exports, I wouldn't trust to buy a pack of tissues from them.  I like JJ baby oil, it is a bit harder to wash off but it lasts great as a massage oil.  If you have a SO, I suggest Castor Oil, it may seem freaky but guess what?  NO SCENT! means much less chances of the SO sniffing out your infidelities.  

I am a huge fan of massage play, including all those wonderfully scented massage oils, my favorite happens to be sweet almond oil because my skin type absorbs it well.  Seems like good massage oils are in a shortage in HK, in the US they are so plentiful it's not even funny.  The cornucopia of choices will make your head dizzy.

The average bottle of 6oz massage oil will probably run you about 20 USD, you can go cheaper but I wouldn't trust those brands unless its JJ or simply a castor oil.  There is always my favorite when my back is seriously in need of massage, the old trusted BEN GAY! LOL... just make sure you don't get a hot hot HOT HJ afterwards if the bitch doesn't wash her hands.

End up the opposit store - body shop agian. Bought the same shit with my VIP card  -20% off. Then went to bonjour and got conned buying this shit lemon grass massage oil, fuck the sales gal was hot and cute....so i am a sucka.

Yep i saw those big > 1litre oil / water , very thin. Cheap like HKD69.

There is a small shop in Sheung Wan that sells this. It is a street paralllel to the notorious Bonham Strand. It is the street "above" Bonham strand as you walk up the hill.
If you can "cut through" up to the next street from 123 Bonham that is where it is.

It is a small shop but you cannot miss it since it sells all sorts of essential oils to the industry. They also have a lot of "massage oils" - the shop is a mess but they are specialists
and the prices are cheap. I have tried it and it is good.

I recently bought some of the Mannings massage oil, lavender scent, at the Mannings in Westwood Mall in Kennedy Town.  I believe it also came in lemongrass scent.  They still had a few bottles left.  Ask the shop girl b/c I would not have found it by myself.  It was quite acceptable, but I plan to buy some better stuff when I go to Bangkok next week.  The ylang ylang oil (which I've seen at various spas in BK) is supposed to have aphrodisiac effects!

Why not make like the greeks - first press olive olive (extra extra virgin to you and me). The scent is very light, and feeling on the skin is way better than any shit stuff, your skin is smooth after, and you can just about use it for everything (great for anal).

To remove? use a strigil - scrape it off along with all the sirt and shit from HK air

Are you saying that you can use regular cooking oil as massage oil. Vegetable, linseed walnut etc.  Sound like the only difference is the scent.

Why is the supply is Asia for massage oil limited. Not sure this was adequately explained
