This might not be an appropriate thing to ask questions about, but in most cases, if I'm paying for something, I'd like to know where the money is going. It could also be useful for bargaining.

I would imagine that this varies considerably for HGs, walk-ups, sauna girls, and so on. I'm curious what percentage of payment actually goes to HGs and walk-ups, versus papasan and whatever triad is behind the scenes. Is it the sob story that media usually portrays or is it actually a decent living for these girls?

for walk ups, they generally keep most, if not all, of the money. for HGs, they generally get less than half of what you pay.
