Make money in North America, spend money in Asia, sounds like a plan to me. As for real chinese food, not sure if you live in a large metro with a good sized Chinese population. If you do I would say on average the food is better in Asia, and cheaper again. If you live in the sticks in the US, fast food chinese is NOT chinese food. Cleanliness while not a Chinese strong point in the US probably takes another hit in Asia IMO, unless you go into high end restaurants.
