NBA Playoffs?

Anyone watching?  Go LA   I think the only team that can possibly beat them are the Cavs.

Bro, not into basketball, find it very repetitious and shallow. Plus they play 80 something games during the regular season and 16 of 30 teams still make the playoffs... credibility lacking. It's popularity has declined dramatically since MJ retired, a couple years ago the NBA finals were out rated by Sponge Bob Square Pants. However, I myself am a team player and I believe this is what you are looking for [LINK HERE]. Good luck.

BTW, I read recently that the average NBA fan has a shorter than normal attention span... and typically very low attention to detail... go figure LOL...

I'm a fan of basketball because it's a fun sport that almost everyone can play. Not a lot of space is needed, just a ball and a hoop. Here's a rank of top sport fans: (Out of these top 10, basketball is probably the easiest one to pick up.)

1) Football: 3.3-3.5 billion fans (Europe, Africa, Asia, Americas, etc.)
2) Cricket: 2-3 billion fans (India, UK, Pakistan, Asia, Australia, etc.)
3) Field hockey: 2-2.2 billion fans (Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia)
4) Tennis: Around 1 billion fans (Europe, Americas, Asia)
5) Volleyball: Around 900 million fans (Asia, Europe, Americas, Australia)
6) Table tennis: Around 900 million fans (Asia, Europe, Africa, Americas)
7) Baseball: Around 500 million fans (US, Japan, Cuba, Dominican Republic)
8) Golf: Around 400 million fans (US, Canada, Europe)
9) Gridiron (American football): 390-410 million fans (US mainly)
10) Basketball: Not more than 400 million fans (US, Canada mainly)

Like many others, I started watching basketball and became a fan of it because of Michael Jordan. I continued watching basketball after his retirement but I've gradually began losing interest these few years. I've even played fantasy basketball for many years but I've come to a point where I don't even bother putting any effort into it, much less follow the sport in general.

Basketball is definitely one of the easiest sports to pick up and play since you the equipment and infrastructure requirements aren't high.

My interest in sports have been shifting to baseball and football these few years. Football especially since there's so much adrenaline involved, there's potentially a big, brreakout play on any given down. It's too bad the season is so short, it's the sport I enjoy watching on television the most.

What I'm surprised at is how American football has about an equal amount or more fans as basketball. I understand that baseball is America's pastime. For football however, there should be much more fans given they're the most popular and profitable sport in America.

I'm a fan of the Cav's myself.  Lebron and Shaq combo, they'll have a good chance.

Looking through your facts about popularity. I've never seen football translated as Gridiron. Are they for real? What's that about?  I'm not a huge basketball fan and my team would be the Nets and if you know anything about the NBA you know how well they did this year....
