Best Restaurants in HK/Macau for Best Value

Anyone know? What I mean by value is that the food is at least worth the price... not just cheap food.

I'd love to hear brothers recommendations...

Mine for Macau is the Red Dragon Noodles at the Venetian...both the dimsum and noodles are good. I would advise against places like Portofino and Itamae since both places get pretty expensive. Food, nonetheless, is good for what it is but not worth the price.

As for HK, I can't believe I forgot these names... I know their locations but even that's hard to describe since I don't know street names I'll be sure to update when I remember.

I second Crystal Jade joints.  I think they have better value and selection than other similar Shanghainese food places.  Also think it's better than Din Tai Fung, again due to value and selection and usually a much longer wait at Din Tai Fung.
Have you tried Tim Ho Wan in Mongkok for dim sum? It's the cheapest place to try Michelin star quality food. Expect a long wait if you go at prime meal times though

Yeah, of course Tsui Wah is everyone's favorite canteen any time of day haha.
My friend recently recommended the "fried instant noodle" dishes to me -- very good!

ebeneezer's kebabs are great, especially the donar, or lamb... i definitely overlooked that. Their pizzas are worth a try.

I see Hong Kong Brew House as one of your links/suggestions.  Would you say these american/family-size serving restaurants have relatively good value-for-money?  I would say so -- like Fat Angelos, Tony Romas, Dan Ryans.  These are the only places in Hong Kong where the word REFILL for drinks makes sense! lol
