Do girls generally like their photos being taken? Do some object or take offence to this?  Does this cost extra?
Obviously some girls do, as there are plenty of photos with the reports.
I dont want to over-step the line and offend the girl.

My first time in HK was 2 years ago. I found a girl on this site, but didnt take any photos (I was nervous enough with the experience).

Essentially, the girls are divided into two categories:
Those who do and those who don't (let you take pics).

Those who do
These are mostly HGs, who are in HK on short visits.
Most of the pimps let them decide, but for a minority
it is totally verboten. Some girls don't mind body pics
but draw the line at pics showing the face. No extra
charge in 99.5% of cases, but you could show your
appreciation with a larger tip, if you're so inclined.

Those who don't
Generally, walkups won't let you take pics, though
a few don't mind photos that don't show the face.

Doesn't hurt to ask, but then be sure to respect her  
wishes. Sneaked pics are basically a no-no on this
forum.

Charm goes a long way. If you have enough
putonghua to put it across, you could offer to let
her delete any photos she finds objectionable.

ive seen one member bring a mask (like phantom of the opera style) and take pics of the girls.  My guess is that it helps protect her identity so it makes her feel more comfortable.  I figure a masked face is better than no face.

Also, i would always recommend starting with a picture yourself and her initially.  most dont decline that, since youll be in the pic as well.

Easygoing has a good point, on the pic together. However, I'd be careful where you store that pic. Also obviously, if they say no, don't force the issue, you aren't paying them for pics.

Unless you are paying them for pics. Negotiate the pics up front, offer to pay extra. The mask is good, I carry a small leather mask in my bag of tricks.

Why not take some pics. of the local WL's and post them in the international section. You don't have to go to HK for pics. (though you will not get much in the way of karma points, I'm finding the members outside the HK forum very stingy). Most of the shots I take here in Sydney are OKed by the girl with the proviso that there face isn't in the shot and I let them check my camera if they have any doubts.

If you really want pics. and they still say no, then move on to someone else. Sometimes they'll want the business enough to change their minds. Good luck, I look forward to seeing your work.

that's not entirely true.

International section has less traffic.. so generally less exposure.. less people to give karma..
most members who read the international reports can't dish out much karma anyway...
and members who can give more karmas and are more generous with them (e.g. Goose), probably don't read international reports...

so.. it's not abt stinginess.
it's just different section, different audience, different luck with karma...

anyway.. abt your report of Sydney Yanyan...
each report you get +1~3 karma..
you posted 3 threads of the same girl with similar pics...
all 3 reports you get total of +9 karma and lots of +acceptance..

My point was that photos don't necessary lead to much in the way of karma points. Yes I understand the less traffic argument, but I can point to one posting with 6 photos and over 200 viewings that got 1 karma point. Yes they were of a girl I'd seen 16 months earlier, but I'd gone to considerable trouble to get them after promising an update 4 weeks earlier, it would seem those who can view the higher RA# are easily bored.

This is the system and I'll work within it and when it all comes down to it this forum is far and away organised better than any other that I have come across, which is why I joined and will continue to participate.

I also understand that there's no winning an argument with a moderator, so I'll say no more.

it really depends on who viewed it bro. lustful lords and above are the only ones who can give karma.

let me give you my own example: i posted 2 reports about the philippines, one got 10 k's and another got 5 k's. the bros who gave the k's were different bros for the 2 reports, which were posted one after the other. this means some bros dont read all the international posts because they are not based in the locale, which is understandable. but it dont mean you dont get karmas. it could be those who viewed your reports were conqueror and below.

i had a post about a HG in HK that got 27 k's but with 3 nude pics.

so international posts make maybe half or a third of k's of HK posts, but still enough encouragement to keep going bro. you only joined 6 weeks ago, some of the bros have been here for years before they got to RA30 or RA40, so be patient.

Just a word of warning.  If you take pictures and you have a significant other, you need to be very careful where you put them on your computer.  I have a folder that says "Pictures from [dirty friend's name]".  He gets blamed for it and if my wife ever finds them, she already thinks he is scum anyway!

@atomic3d: I agree with everything DaBestHK said. This is afterall a predominantly HK and China-focused forum. But don't lose heart. Work with the system, not against it. Like you said, its one of the best run around. What you should do is continue to contribute and when you get to the position of being able to hand out karmas, give a helping hand to newer members in the same position you are right now.

those who do read, might not be able to give out karma...
and those who can give, might not like your report!
sometimes, it's down to luck...

who knows, the next time u write a report or post a pic, u might get +10 karma...

My personal rule has always been to give the max karma allowable for pics (particularly nude pics) tagged onto reports.  They're hard to get and I very much appreciate the members with the skill and finesse to get them.  Under the new rules I can only give +/- 1 so I can no longer award big karma to the guy who posts his bareback-greek-ass-to-mouth photos    with lots of karma, but one day might be able to again.  It's not stinginess, it's just an effect of the reset.

Actually I have recently discovered that lowly musky members can award what's called acceptance points. I written a short report about it and posted it in the chat section.

Also good idea to take practice shots with different settings on your camera rather than depending on the auto functions all the time, nothing worse than getting home and downloading your shots off the camera only to find them blurry or too dark or whatever and unusable. I find that the indoor setting on my camera is usually best in, brothel, sauna and WL room settings. Although in a small room with light coloured walls the flash can cause a body halo effect by deepening the WL shadow and bouncing back off the walls, in these cases it's sometimes better to use the available light setting, particularly if the light in the room is adequate. I also find the best way to photograph business cards for example is to put the card against a dark background under a desk lamp and use the available light setting. Using a flash in these situations tends to bounce too much light off the card obscuring the writing.

Original!  Me, all my friends are very straight (as far as I know; they'd say the same about me!), so I can't use that one!  But anything I want to hide (porn), I put in a folder that looks like something legit, such as a folder that looks like a valid program name, under Program Files.

It's a good idea to have it hidden with a password assigned, because just in case your SO
clicks on it by accident!

I think on the orig topic, you have to build some chemistry with the WG as the best tactic to get the
pics and i agree on awarding a fair amount of pts for real pics - as PS can be very deceptive
