Pitching an idea to TVB?

Seriously how would I go about this? In that I've got something for them that is uniqu. I have doubts that I can just go to their offices and say Hi I have an idea, I'd probably be escorted off the premises pronto.

You go through an agent or something? How would I find an agent?

Your question is the equivalent of "I want to fuck a supermodel. Should I just show up at her front door, naked?" About a million other people in HK also have a unique idea for TVB. The only way to have it seriously considered is to be a somebody with media people. Easiest way is start asking your family/friends/contacts whether they know anybody, no matter how incidentally, who is somehow involved in HK media. Then meet that person and see who they might know. And keep proceeding this way, sometimes for a few decades.

LOL... the TVB series bandwagon is so dried up that they are willing to do anything. I wouldn't be surprised if they went for it. Go to TVB studios and ask, what could happen? They tell you no?

Perhaps you can enlighten us on your idea. Maybe some TVB exec lurking on this blog would find your synopsis intriguing. Hope it's about a pretty young girl from China being forced into prostitution in Mongkok and eventually marries a property tycoon and becomes a powerful businesswoman who kicks ass.

I'm actually approaching the UK branch of TVB shortly about this, I mean fucking hell if they will broadcast interviews of blogs lke bigwhiteguy.com I have a chance of getting in someways to this.
