GSP wins as expected. Unanimous decision.

too little action though. hardy was VERY TOUGH, the armbar would have broken anyone else!

surprised by shane carwin, he had a lot of power in his short punches.

Shane Carwin fight was pretty good ... GSP won but, again, without finalizing there will always be a question mark on how good he is...

Need to watch the Shane Carwin fight.  KO Frank Mir is saying something.  Although Mir is probably fading now. Will never forget his arm-breaking armbar against Tim Sylvia though. That's an all-time UFC Hilight.

GSP may have felt him tap. I watched some of the replays and you can see Hardy tap GSPs ass once and GSP looks up at the ref while easing up on Hardy, at which point Hardy escapes. But GSP was too nice though, he could have easily broken Hardy's arm either time.

I think Frank Mir might be finished for good. Carwin's knockout was devastating. The ref did not get in there quick enough because Carwin was got in 3-4 solid punches to the side/back of Mir's head after he was out cold. Even if Mir comes back, he'll never be the same again.

I missed UFC 111!  So it sounds like the GSP fight wasn't that good, but the Carwin knockout of Mir was pretty fucking great?  Better than Brock Lesnar's handling of Frank Mir at UFC 100?  Damn, that should set up one hell of a fight between Carwin and Lesnar!

I though so too. The first arm bar there could have finished Hardy.

Hardy was a strong fighter against GSP. GSP did not dominate the fight as he usually does with other opponents. If GSP does decide to move up in weight, he will have a rude awaking. As many of the fighters will dominate him.
