u can't do that...

it's safer to just logout of 141, clear your browser's history & cookies before you leave your PC.

If you use Firefox, you can enable Private Browsing when accessing 141. Private browsing mode doesn't store page visited, history, cookies etc.

You can details of Private Browsing here

guess this might be distantly related to the warning in another thread that someones SO found his account logged on ... in that case clearing his browser won't help, as she can create a login of her own and knows his ID to search on.

Very much a case of "you sleep in your bed as you make it" ...

but if I read his msg right, he's wanting to delete all his posts so there's no trail (e.g. reports) to follow ...

Come to that he only has 10 posts before this one:  Can't be too much revealing info in that activity.

-------------------

But if the issue is precaution (not cure) the simplest thing is to use Google Chrome and go into Incognito mode as a matter of habit.  No need to remember to do anything, just close the browser and all history and cookies are gone.

... but you do have to remember to close the browser

Ultimately the only thing that'll protect you is squeaky-clean tidy habits, and the self-discipline to follow your own rules rigorously.

Private Browsing in Firefox (Ctrl+Shift+P), InPrivate Browsing in IE8 (Ctrl+Shift+P), Incognito mode in Chrome (Ctrl+Shift+N). Doesn't help if the window is accidentally left minimized, so beware :-)

Safari has a private browsing option also, click on the Safari File Menu, and enable it.

Please refer to this thread which I found out that all the "porn" mode available within FireFox is not enough. There's still some trail left behind.

CCleaner

Don't forget to regularly purge all temporary files and other crap from other programs. It helps speed up your computer too.
