WG over new year?

Do most WG still work over the "calendar" new year (i.e. 31st dec, 1st jan etc)?
What about other night clubs and bars etc

Ok guys thanks for the info, i would have thought it would have been quiet since the customers would be out with friends and family etc etc

What about the Chinese new year, its the Sun 14th isn't it? Do most WG work that day given its a public holiday and a big day? What about the rest of the city?
