english?

Im a little curious about yoru experience on how it is to be with a girl that does not speak english if you dont speak any chinese at all. Is that a problem? Does the girls that dont have "english" listed still speak a few words so its ok for communicating or they dont at all?

Don't expect that any of the hotel girls, and very few of the walkup girls to speak any English. Of the few girls who do speak English, most don't speak much more than a few words at best. You certainly won't be having a conversation with any of them. Since you both know the purpose of your visit, communication at the level needed to complete your goal is usually not an issue.

I disagree quite a lot of them learn English particularly as they ner retirement, Yuki speaks english , happy . Michelle speak english, its more common than you think as it is a method for them to escape out of their situ,

you can pretty much communicate anything you need with hand motions.  otherwise if you really need to, you can bring a pen and paper and draw some pictures.

when it comes to HG, 'English' in the DB is a function of the pimp/papasan/mamasan, not of the girl itself.  Probably 1 in 1000 HGs will actually speak any English.

Yes it is true that there are a few English speaking girls out there, and some, like Michelle speak very good English. I just meant, as a guideline, don't expect the girl to speak conversational English just because English is listed as one of her languages. If English is your only language, don't set your sites too high an conversing with the girl servicing you, That is way down my list of positive attributes as far as having a good time with the girl.

Well, yeah, but that's not why I would be going to a walkup (hotel res. is a different issue).

Depends on your style.  I'm very verbal...  It's often hard for me to connect with women when we cannot communicate.  But it doesn't even seem to matter to many other guys.

Piggy (walkup in TST) speaks native-level English, which she learned from a British boyfriend/husband/whatever. You can go see her and chat all day long (as long as you pay her).

As for HG (not walkup), in general, someone in China who speaks good English would not become a 141 hotel prostitute.

I dont think speak "good" english is what im looking for, but at least some kind of communication, a few words etc would be helpfull. Should I go for the "english" only or not? I still dont know...

Any generalizations we can give you about the mass population of walkup WGs are meaningless, since I assume you're only interested in one or two specific ones. Either find their reviews, or try them.

For HGs, none speak any Englsih, and "English" in the ad refers to their pimp/phone answerer, not them.

In both cases, it will make your life easier if you learn about ten words of Mandarin.
