is very true. Not to many people have CC in china. I had to get use to carry cash in china because not too many places takes ATM cards.so people tend to spend what they have and not more. The thing that sucks in china is when you are sick and need to go to emergency, they will ask for cash first before you are treated. My cousin was in a emergency room and needed to operated on and the doctor ask for money first for life saving operation. Even after explain to the hospital that we have give them 3000rmb in cash the will not operate till they get more money first.

roflmao, i laugh at this becuase it seems so true.  almost all my friends even though htey make a lot of money, they owe so much more htan they make.  one friend makes like 100k/year yet he's teh most broke becuase he spends on impulse and ends up owing way more than he makes in debt.

the people who seem to actually ahve the most money are the people who earn the least, but know how to save and watch their spending.  just like at my company, all the guys who make the most money all have large debts.  luckily for myself i just spend my money on punting and they dont take credit.. hehe

At any hospital. The will just leave you in the halls to die. The try to push my cousin out of the operating room since someone is waiting to get who already pay but we had a few people and will not allow it and when the money show up and paid at the cashier before the doctor start.

even scarier: the statistic basically says the US population have "borrowed" $2.5k x 250k people ... and one of the things they have "invested" in is military equipment that can be used for protecting their "national interest" ... e.g. defending against angry creditors asking for their money back ...

I wonder if that $363 in the PRC includes each person's share of $772Bn US national debt owned by China.  I'm guessing not since it says "bank balance" not "net national assets".  So that's an additional $593 of credit each Chinese national owns ... 2x their savings ... and it's an investment that's not performing too well ...

We live in interesting times ...

Yah....we do live in interesting times....

Especially after the end of the I-Bank era....I feel like money is just not real...it's just a number...I make XXXX each month...and WGs cost XX...

Just a number printed on paper...we can always print more right?!?!
