Been reading this forum for a while now and am, like you, a man that occassionaly enjoys visiting the girls. I must say though that while its good I do find that sometimes it would be good to go out and actually mix with local girls on a night out. There was a thread back a few days ago that did not get much attention or response so would like to raise this again. Can anyone recommend any good bars ( excluding the most obvious lang kwai fong )  where a westerner could stand a chance? To start I will make my own recommendation. There is a club called HOT in TST that generally attracts a younger crowd that likes to get high but can be a good place to dance and mix with a local crowd. There used to be clubs called 348 and cyber but they were closed down due to drugs related problems.

141 girls are great but - the experience is very quick. I suppose I am just looking for a slight twist and something new. I dont mean going out and being 100% gurarenteed of sex but advice and feedback on good experiences and hunting grounds would be appreciated.

Knobjockey if you are looking to frequent the Chinese bars in TST and even Causeway bay I would recommend that if you are a foreigner go with a local chinese person only way they wil let you in. Or you could hit some problems beyond your control that I am sure you do not want or need!!  The women are fantastic at these bars and very sexxxy but getting in is the problem.  I went to CD Bar in Causeway Bay at the invitation of the owner and it was fantatstic even the women were superb but initially the security would not let me in till I phoned the owner and he gavce security shit!! Got to keep in mind a lot of these places the mighty and the rich of Hong kong take their women for an evening out and they are very beautiful as they are mostly kept women!! So do be careful. On the other hand the other bars are quite drug infused and can be dangerous due to police raids or Triad Turf Wars.  I went to 348 as a VIP and believe me I could not even get a beer there all that was available was drugs on carts not my cup of tea!!! The manager had to get me Beer fro the 7-Elevn down the street!  Wanchai is a good place to romance a few gilrls and take them home.  I know it is a turkey shoot but it is up to you to make it romantic and believe me the girls love to be romanced and put out according to how you treat them.  I find the 141 a bit to quick for my liking but then sometimes I just want to bang a good looking face for the variety.  Most of my times I get an all nighter in Wanchai from joe bananas or Fenwicks where ther is some selction and keep them till late afternoon evening next day now that is how I like it?? I am sure there are some good bars where you v=can hook up with some local girls but again I think you need a local to take you there and most locals are not into mongering as we are on this site!!!  Cheers!!

Tricky - Thank you for your post and your reply. Took a while for someone to reply but we got there eventually. I know what you mean about 348 and used to go there a lot. If you want to escape earth for a few hours and dance with beautiful girls there was nothing better. But they did take it to the extreme and the poilce bascially raided the crap of it until it closed. HOT is the last one standing and will close soon. I like to also take a wan chai girl home but 1500 for a night is a lot for me. Appreciate your feedback and welcome that of any others.

common guys - challenge yourselves and get out of the same rut in lang kwai fong and wan chai. Thats not the real HK. I am been to bars in mong kok like 888 and 1 2 3 floor and while tricky is right - hard to get in without a local its a good experience sometimes and you meet actual girls at times.

Hei Hei, Club 9, The Fong and Sugar are good for meeting local girls...Albeit, these are indeed in and around LKF.....in Cway bay, you can try some of the clubs/bars in Circle Tower or on Sharp Street at a few of the bars.....New Henry House also has a number of bars/clubs where some very beautiful local chicks hang out....

you should either A) speak canto or B) go with someone who does. Tricky is correct RE rich local guys getting upset about westerners trying to chat up their gals. They do it differently here - they call a vanload of goons to come settle things vs. doing it themselves.
