Macau Hotels

heya bros

while my current vacation is drawing to an end, i am already planning for the next one!
well not exactly a vacation but more of a necessary business trip which i intend to convert into
a short getaway

been checking the macau hotels available on the various hotel booking sites and i have kind of
shortlisted the Metropark Hotel Macau or the Ole London Hotel for a 1-2 nights stay.

has anyone stayed at these hotels before? i am familiar with Metropark due to their
presence in HK but i am not sure about their Macau branch. Ole London on the other hand,
is tempting price-wise.

my priority is proximity to the casinos and saunas and as long as the place is not some
nightmare of a sewer masquerading as a hotel, i'm cool. which of the 2 would be a better
bet?

Have you checked the macau.com website, there some hotel promotions going on at the mo.

In regards to your two hotels, Metropark is an okay hotel and stayed there a few times. Metropark is close proximity to saunas (i.e. Sanado is opposite, RIO and Supreme are within a few minutes walking distance away) and casinos (close to the famous Lisboa casinos). For Ole London, the location is close to town but is away from the sauna and casino action.

If its a business trip, why not splash out a bit more and stay at the plush hotels - StarWorld, Wynn?

sounds like Metropark is a better bet then. by the way bro AP, does Metropark provide
free in-room internet access or am i going to have to pay to get online? from what i know,
one of the big negatives about Macau hotels is the exhorbitant hotel internet fees. another
reason to miss China

i would love to splurge out on a classy hotel but i own this small enterprise and i am trying to
keep the expenses account healthy for the moment.

anyways, cheers for the info. i checked the macau.com site but asiatravel is offering an even
better deal for Metropark for my time frame.

Ah...the wonders of owning your own enterprise, discipline

No free room Internet access. If I recall, I think it was MOP100 for internet room access but unsure for the usage period. Also, they have internet access in the lobby but there is no privacy on usage.
