#21 Post at 17-9-2009 22:16  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L i think many of you might be surprised at race/colour being an issue.  it's def something that kennichi might need to be aware of.  while it's not necessarily a make or break issue, schools routinely discriminate in their selection based upon parental complaints that they don't think an asian would have a better english level than a non-asian.  i saw this routinely when i lived in beijing.  the way around this issue was generally going through some sort of agency that would vouch for you vs. finding one yourself.  and female teachers are def preferred over males when it comes to kids.
