Recently, I’ve become one of those bros who enjoys a good, skillful body massage with a happy ending. After some trial and error, I’ve finally found a place that checks all the boxes: young, pretty staff AND great massages. It’s in the Futian commercial district, which is super convenient for me. I’ve been back several times in the last few months and even bought a membership.

The spot is one of the many 24-hour spas in Shenzhen, but I’d say it’s more high-end than your typical place—think a solid 4-star hotel. It’s newly renovated, very clean, and offers great service. I’ve also stayed overnight a couple of times. The private massage rooms are comfortable, and it saves on booking a hotel room.

The spa has its own entrance on the ground floor, where an attendant will escort you up to reception. You’ll need to show your ID to register, but I’ve never had any issues with this—it’s a legitimate place with a lot of regular "civilian” customers. The pricing is typical for larger spas in Shenzhen: you pay a fee for 24-hour access, which covers fruits, soft drinks, and all the facilities. The massage services are separate, so you pay for those on top.

Once you’re in, you'll get a wristband and be escorted to the changing area. Someone will help you fold your clothes and provide towels and robes. They also offer laundry service, which is great if you’re staying overnight. All your clothes get washed and returned the next morning (you pay the locker room attendant directly for this). Plus, the showers are stocked with useful toiletries, moisturizers, and shaving kits

The spa spans two floors: the downstairs lounge area, which has separate smoking and non-smoking sections, and upstairs are the private massage rooms. One of my favorite things is the vibe—the lighting is dim, and the atmosphere is really relaxing, with muted football games playing on big screens in the lounge. You can choose from a range of massage services like head massages, ear cleaning, and foot massages, all available from a touchscreen at your seat.

The staff is mostly young and attractive, and you can pick who you want. The girls in tight dresses do public area massages (think veggie massages), while the ones in office attire (white shirt, black trousers) are the ones who handle the oil massages in private rooms. The office girls mostly stay in the back, though you’ll occasionally see them walking around or waiting near the entrance.

I usually come in the early evening to relax in the lounge, get a head or foot massage, maybe even a pedicure. The restaurant also has a solid selection of Chinese dishes if you’re hungry. Around 10-11pm, I usually get the oil massage in a private room and then sleep there. The massage beds are big enough to sleep comfortably, though I always try to request a room with a double bed.

To start with the oil massage, you can either approach one of the office girls directly if you see one you like, or ask a male staff member to show you the available girls on a screen. You won’t see the office girls listed on your personal touchscreen. Once you’ve made your choice, you wait in the massage room for her. The photos online are highly edited, but there’s no drama if you want to request someone else if you’re not feeling the one who shows up.

Once you’re alone in the room, the girl will explain the pricing. There are three pricing tiers: around 900 RMB for a 1-hour oil massage without a happy ending, and 1200 RMB for the oil massage *plus* the happy ending. You’ll also need to tip the girl, and I usually send a couple of hundred via WeChat after.

The massage itself is usually about 45 minutes, and the quality is great—these girls are trained masseuses. The happy ending itself can be a bit awkward because, being a legit spa, there’s a small window on the door, and the girl can be nervous, even though she’s likely done it hundreds of times. Personally, I like the slight thrill of it, but just be aware that the happy ending happens under a large towel. The girl won’t get fully naked, though she’ll often let you put your hands up her shirt (but not usually down her pants).

It’s definitely not the same as going to an *unofficial* spot, but for me, the quality of the massage, the overall experience, and the professionalism of the staff make it worth it.

Whole thing is not cheap but I figure I save 800 on a night at the Sheraton and get my nails done too so works out well for me lol
