I can find many hotels on trip.com but i cant seem to know if they are guest-friendly or not (no registration required)

Go through lobby or New World shopping Center. In "Mariott Marquis City Center" also no problem. Main entrance or side entrance through the bar. In "Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel" no problem. In anycase, guide her, go straight, keep your head up, your the guest, you're the boss. Be respectful to everybody. Don't try this in "JW Mariott at Tomorrow Square". The staff is watching everything. It is too difficult. Less guest. Lovby is not crowded so they can see everything.
