So I did the touristy thing and went to Nana. Just thought I would share my experience the non-locals.

It's been a long time since my last visit, in fact since pre COVID. What was noticeable though was how Nana seemed to be winning vs Soi Cowboy when it comes to attracting the tourist dollars. And why? Just feels like the quality of talent is way better.

Firstly, don't waste time on the ground floor of Nana. Unless you genuinely are with mates who just want to people watch. I prefer watching women....proceed to second and third floors.

Everyone talks about Spankys and I think the shows are good. It feels like a more diverse crowd too. But I didn't think the girls were that great quality wise.

Went into True Obssession, a small ladyboy bar. Went for a laugh and was almost tempted. Seriously if you are into ladyboys the quality was stunning. They are very pushy though, for takeout.

To me, the third floor has the quality. Butterflies and Billboards seem to be owned by same owner. I was actually shocked by the quality at Butterflies. At least 10+ girls I'd call 8s and 9s. Billboard didn't seem to be quite as good but was fine. Geisha is another one that I enjoyed. It's targeting Japanese guys so the girls working there also seem to prefer Japanese guys.

My wife and I like to people watch often in Soi Cowboy and also in Nana (usually we sit at Stumble Inn to watch guys negotiating with street walkers).  I'd def. agree with what you say that Soi Cowboy is nothing special these days.  For one, it doesn't get a ton of foot traffic and 2, the girls are pretty meh.  I think a lot of the places are just scam joints that will try to overcharge you on drinks.  Maybe too much of that killed the rep of Soi Cowboy.

The streetwalkers on Soi 4 are a bit higher quality, but again, not great imo, except if you're into Africans.  There are some pretty cute black girls there.

I can't speak to the gogos in Nana Plaza, b/c we haven't gone in one yet, but sounds like the place to be.  We tried the beer garden once, but it was kinda boring, not much to see there.

In terms of street walkers, there are quite a few if you walk along Sukhumvit (odd numbered side) towards Soi Cowboy from Nana Plaza.  I'd say they got pretty hot once you get closer to Thermae.  I've been inside Thermae once and thought there a handful of girls who were hotter than any street walkers I've seen (which usually top out at 7s or 8s).  Inside Thermae there were a few 8s and 9s, and I guess the 10s would be found in the NP go gos.

It was the Germany vs Denmark game, so the later game. Many bars had shut and the outside lights were closed for most bars. Yet a number of them were still jam packed inside. Not sure if that was a Euro thing or maybe since it's Sat night. I don't recall Nana ever being open that late before.

On the other questions:
- I think standard for ST now is probably around 3K and then the bar fine on top of that. Bar fines I think are close to 1K now.
- the first time they showed me some BS number like 5.5K
- second time was around 4.5K
- I ended up paying a bit under 4K, from memory.
