Best to go in the evening and it can take some time to find but the best options are Thai or Vietnamese for 1.5-2k for short time Huaxi St and has has cheaper options but likely not worth your time and are mostly old ladies Other options are already pretty well covered on here

The two times I walked by, I mostly saw Taiwanese WGs, around 40s. They will approach you, but you will need to know Mandarin in my experience
