My contention is quite straight forward. Hours must be spent on photo shopping pics of girls world wide to hardly resemble the real thing, and I believe there will be the backlash against this soon as there was / is with fake pictures. PS pic is a fake pic. I see all the pretty girls and know that they will not look that and with three under the belt in termsof thorough disappointment in the looks department, I have given up on them.

Now, with the thread with pics lifted from the Chinese forum there are loads of girls there I would like to visit based on the real pics where I wouldn't have even bothered to open the link to them based on the plastic fantastic picture.

So, is there going to be a backlash? Are they hurting themselves?

I think they are hurting themselves as it just leads to dissapointment. They are far less likely to get repeat customers

it seems the real ones typically come from the japanese ones (and obviously charge that much more as well)

For me, weight seems to be an issue.  Compared to the photos, the girl in real life looks about 10-20 pounds heavier.  It's really no PS per say but the way photographs are taken or the angle from which the lens was placed.

I agree, the expectations are so high that when they arrive its usually not even close.  Its really no difference than having your face covered up as many north american WG's do.

Photoshop creates a buzz that makes people for for certain looking people..

Good question ... and one worth taking in it's proper full context ...

Are you more likely to move towards and choose:-
a girl wearing nice new well-cut clothes, or one wearing her frumpy at-home clothes?
a girl wearing a little makeup, or one wearing absolutely none at all?
a girl's pic taken on her good day (no PS) or one taken on her bad-hair hungover day?  
a real GF doing what a real GF does, or a girl giving us wonderful (but deliberate) GFE?  

It's ALL artificial.  And let's face it, we LOVE a bit of gilding of the lily.  The fantasy is always more intense than the reality.  Even fake moaning - at the right time in the right way - can give us an extra high that wouldn't have happened without it!  

The issue is one of degree - if the PS is so exaggerated that the girl looks nothing like the original, it means we get disappointed and hurts our trust as much as fake advertising.  Heck, why do walkups use pink lighting in the room?  Simple: it hides blemishes better than a full-on white light.  

But I think underneath all of our desire for authenticity and accuracy, we still want the girl to look her best, including in her pics ... as long as it doesn't make her look cheap and overdone when we actually see the reality.  Right?

i wouldnt be so quick to discount PS being evident when it comes to weight and also breast size. There is a 'liquify' tool that will allow you to very quickly and simply take 15-20lbs off a girl. also, the 'bloat' tool will instantly turn her from a B to D cup. if you go on to youtube and search for photoshop magic, you will see some amazing photoshop post-production work, showing just some of the powers of photoshop.

the PS gives me the fantasy that I want.  But I prefer that I get a real pic so I know what I'm getting.  Otherwise when I get there, I'll be deeply disappointed, and why waste my time?

That's why it's important that we have this discussion forum where bros can post real photos to help other bros out.  So far, the photos of the girls posted by bros are about 80-90% similar to their PS pictures.  I've noticed teeth seems to also be a great point of disparity between the photos and real life.

Without a doubt I would prefer to see real picks. If you are going to fork out you want to know that you are on your way and what is under the wrapper is as it is described on the box. If you went to the shop and paid for something with a supper picture and opened it up and it was a completely different in look and quality to what you had seen advertised on the box of course you have every right to be upset and feel deceived.

Real pics are the best, unlike ps crap that hides the truth.

problem is, despite all the cries against PS... we still go out to monger like the lottery, we will go regardless if they are PS'd or not, am I not right? haha

still prefer real pics..
but some Singapore mongering websites have both PS and REAL life pics, which are a plus plus points.

@ rockypop I'm afraid you are absolutely right. We may complain about it yet there is not much we can do and off to play we go.

Everybody want to see the real girl and eat her. So, we need the real pic to make decision.

I mean most guys still like the sex and the girl once they are there in the bed naked anyway.. looks is not so importasnt by then, but before and after we need those good looks

For me if the photo looks like it has been photo shopped I usually assume they are hiding something and wouldn't try.  So for me it keeps my business away

They always lead to disappointment even though you know the pics have been psed, that is why we love to see the real pics that make it up.  Someone needs to convice on the papasans to try a couple of weeks with non photoshopped pics to see what his trade is like.
