#1 Post at 26-10-2008 23:18  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Must KXrX Dear all, Punting has always been my favorite hobby since I have been back to Hong Kong.   Was talking to my friend about the captioned night club.  He told me the quality of the girls should be pretty good as it is an exclusive club at CWB and members only.   Neither of us have been there as we are two ordinary guys with no contacts to get in. So I googled the name and found a few forums (all Chinese) and it does say members only and mostly mainland Chinese and it costs 4K for around 3 hours.    Anyone been there and would like to share some thoughts? Let me give you an example. Pretamonger. Their market positioning and their food is 10 times better than Krispy. Locals don't like sandwiches and don't like sitting on stools. You know what happened? All their shops are at Central and Admiralty where all gweilows hang out.   And they put Chairs / Sofas at their shops like Starbucks. Close their shop at Harbour city a couple of years back. Shut all their shops in Japan. They react quickly.

#10 Post at 29-10-2008 23:30  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Reply #9 jborne69's post I wouldn't necessarily say locals don't like sandwiches, just not $20+ ones when they can pick up one for less than half the price elsewhere, admittably with less fillings, but perfectly fine nonetheless.   You'd say locals don't like to pay $30+ for a coffee either but business people/office workers seem to be adopting a more western lifestyle and so become less stingey about pay more for a cup of coffee.  I don't think I've many Starbucks outlets in places not near to areas where there are alot of offices, particularly in areas where there aren't many gweilos.  Anyone know if a Starbucks is rare in NT?

Now much of Eliza house has been taken over by more ' filial ' establishments and barring a sauna club, there is no 'private' club. You'd do better to do a recon at TST or best, Macau
