Airbnb - Bangkok

Hi Bros,

Has anyone ever used Airbnb for a nice one or two bedroom apartment in Bangkok?
I know hotels are quite cheap but if staying for more than a few weeks I think an apartment might be better.

Thanks,
Obe

I've done AirBNB in Thailand, but for the cost, hotels are just better. I like the cleaning service and the food options. Many AirBnB in BKK are overpriced in my opinion.

Have you tried booking.com? you can find apartments on there and serviced apartments too. I saw some nice looking serviced apartments around BK.

Might be worth just booking a larger room in a hotel, they are cheap enough.

i stayed at an airbnb near Ari station and i thought it was awesome! makes you feel like a local. Although the spot was pretty far from the action, I enjoyed it cause the building was nice, modern, and it was on the 26th floor.

It was more like a studio than a 1 bedroom, but you can close the bedroom completely from the other functions.

vrbo

I would try vrbo.com they have all types of rentals. you deal directly with the owners in most cases. they will rent by day week or month depending on owner

I am in agreement with some of the other posters regarding service apartments. I have used the Fraser on Sukhumvit 11 for many years. Although it is getting a bit pricey now, the basic unit is a two bedroom suite with breakfast. Location is good (although I recommend a room facing away from the soi (xx09 rooms).
