Sim Card for Holland and Germany

Hey guys,

I was just chatting with my Chinese colleague. She has asked me a question which I do not know the answer too!

Next week she will travel to Germany and Holland, can she use 1 sim card for both countries or does she have to buy one sim card for each country, can she easily buy a sim card in the airport?

I have not visited Europe in years.
