iPhone 5S

as a new owner I have to say I am very happy... I realise the screen size is not for everyone, however I am upgrading from an iPhone 4S so the size is a steady jump in terms of both appearance and practicality.

Key things to report though... it is FAST... I don't mean "bench test" fast where most manufacturers fudge the results... I mean actually doing things I do many times every day fast.

The responsiveness of the screen is brilliant, but Apple has long held that title so no surprise.

The finger print unlocking is great and much faster in reality than on any of the videos and adverts I had seen. When I get a chance I will test the knob of my dick to see if that can also be used??? Just curious...

There are some brilliant security tweeks to the new iOS7 that make it impossible to wipe a stolen phone unless you know the physical unlock code. You also cant turn off "find my iPhone" unless you have the unlock code.

The camera has always been good except in low light which is a flaw with most phone cameras... low light pics on the iPhone 5S are really brilliant.

Although i have an iphone, never been a huge fan of it, mainky because i hate itunes because its a chore to use, kuch orefer usb mass transit, and file transfer over bluetooth.  I carry 2 other devices with me as well.

Iphone for apps
Android tablet for apps and media consumption
Nokia for offline maps and hardware (camera, nfc, fm transmitter) life saver if i’m travelling

Not sure about the price of Gold in HK.

When I placed my order for the grey one, gold was out of stock in all 3 size configurations for 7 - 8 weeks. The silver was out of stock in 16GB and 32GB for 3 - 4 weeks. I guess demand exceeding supply makes people do crazy things.

Some "looney tune" paid US$10,000 for a GOLD 64GB on eBay. I find it hard to understand... or believe actually... whatever the case they sold 9 million over the first weekend.
