A very good apps available for smart phone to hide your secret info/photos. I should have utlise this apps earlier. I deleted so many photos and phone no.s collected from the field, everytime before I go home. Now, I open this apps and take and keep the photos of WG here. Notes also available to save phone numbers / other details. Password protected, touch style. #4 Post at 14-11-2012 13:08  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Reply #3 timewaster's post there are fully hidden apps on Android ... not sure about iPhone though.   There was one that I used, then it went through a version update, and the previously hidden "private" folder became visible (albeit still password protected, but visibly there).  So I switched to Android.   BTW one of the biggest gotchas to look out for is the trend for automatically 'streaming' pics to a could-based storage, like iCloud or DropBox - if you do that, beware they don't end up out of your control! #5 Post at 14-11-2012 17:20  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L I've been loading some photos onto the secret app and I am finding that it will spit the dummy and turn itself off if you try to view the 3rd photo in an album, so I am having to limit each album to 2 photos. Perhaps there is an upper Mb limit to each album, though there is no mention of this in the specs.

Put an empty file  file named ".nomedia"  in a folder somewhere and the pics will not show up in Albums. You can use a file explorer ,  like Astro,  to find the pics and watch them.

Download gmail app for your mobile device(s) and/or accessible from any device with Internet connection. This way no content is stored locally, just make sure you use incognito mode for your browser and don't save login data on your mobile device. #16 Post at 22-12-2012 16:45  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L There are some apps that don't download your photos to the album automatically (e.g. Camera Awesome, which by the way is significantly better than the native camera app and also free). So if you don't place that app in an obvious location, then your SO may not even think to look there. Call it hiding in plain sight if you like. Another way is to just download a ton of apps. I have a friend who has like 8 pages of apps; but he really only uses like 10, and since he knows which 10, he never has issues finding it. But isafeplay does sound intriguing. Should check it out.
