#1 Post at 22-12-2011 16:41  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Changing browser from IE8 to firefox When I first registered at this site, I was using Internet Explorer 8 for as a web browser. I tried to change browser to firefox because I was having trouble with IE8, but when I tried to logon to 141, I got rejected. I tried re-registering, but my email is linked to my original registration and I couldn’t re-register. I went back to IE8, and I can logon with original registration info. Is there anyway I can change to firefox and still keep original username and password? thank you in advance for any help

First see if you can change the password to something you can remember when youlog in via IE8. If you can, then simply switch over to Firefox and use the new password. If you can't change the password that way, then make sure your email address is correct in the profile settings whilst logged in on IE8. Then follow the site's "Forgot password" link and reset the password to something you know. I haven't tried it before, but I assume it will send you an email with instructions to confirm the password reset (or it might even email you your password).
