Names - Did their parents not like them or something?

Of course, it was probably mamasans and papasans who chose their names, rather than the mamas and the papas, but it still amazes me that they would choose such crazy names for these girls.

Fun Poll!!
I couldnt imagine visiting let alone titling a report on a gal named "Dung Dung"

. In English the name is just too repulsive. Even if she was an anal queen. Is this just chinglish or is there a meaning in Chinese for this? Fish was a close second.

Yeah, I had a laugh at this latest crop of WG's on the DB and thought how hard it might be to be banging one with a strange name [especially a blokes name] - but then again, when you got into it, it really doesn't matter as long as you get good service and they don't resembel their namesakes!

You guys are making a big deal out of nothing.

Of course there's. a meaning to it. Dung dung could mean East, or understand. Just because these names sound funny in English doesn't mean that there's no meaning to it. And - these are their stage names - like the gal or the papa are going to tell you their real name or even give a flying fuck what you call them? lol This weird name shit happens all the time, and not only in Asia, but all over the world, i.e., Chevrolet naming their car a Nova while trying to market it to Latin America, or this:

I get what you are saying, but calling a girl David can not be good for business... Although it does mean that you don't need to lie to the wife so much.

I picked Allen but that was just because it was the first guy name. Any guy name is a major turn off but fish was pretty bad also. Dung Dung does not bother me that much just because I know that is just a translation issue.
