I live and work in Shanghai, head down to HK about 6 times a year for work. I have friends there and we usually head out to LKF on the weekends. I've been to Prive, Dragon-i, Volar, Billion and Beijing many times. I have picked up girls in those places, but the thing I hate most about them is that they're always rammed till bursting on the weekends. If all the hot girls weren't there, I would never bother going.

Anyone got any suggestions as to where else I might go for a drink and to dance the night away with a hot young thing the next time I'm in town?

It depends on what you want?

A hot girl you are willing to pay for or not?

There is Wan Chai (obviously) and Soho.

If you have been coming six times a year surely you know where else to go....

Like you said, all the hot girls were at the club that you listed already. Are you asking where else there are a lot of hot girls, but not bustling?

I'm not sure hot girls are attracted to empty clubs !

A few new places opened up. You may wish to give Hyde, Play (the new one), Shake Shake a look for some hot chicks. As for avoiding packed places, that is hard as hot girls like to go to places that have alot of guys who will fight to court them and buy drinks.

But if you insist in a decent ratio of chicks to guys and the place not being so packed yet still happening, then I suggest you check Beijing on a Tuesday night. On Tuesday night, girls get free entry and free ladies drinks all night. You really have to go after 12am. I suggest you clear your Wednesday morning schedule so you can sleep in. IMHO, Beijing Tuesday night is the 2nd best night of the place.

Beijing's best night will have to be Thursday night with tons of hotties, but it will packed to bursting and girls get only 1 free champagne drink. It is esp. packed after 1230am when the girls all come over from all the other clubs' ladies night properly buzzed.

You might want to try TST for a change...

I have been to Club Soso in Knutschford Terrace on a Saturday and it was good.  
That night they were having a promo of HKD 330, entrance + drink all you can.

Place is not that big but definitely a breath of fresh air from the usual clubbing in LKF.

Club SoSo used to have the same promotion on Tuesday nights and the place was rocking, $350 all u can drink for guys + $0 for ladies all they can drink for free.

Then Beijing Club stole the idea and Club Soso lost many of its regulars to Tuesday at Beijing.

Moving the "all you can drink" deal to Saturday is better for them as no other club in LKF would have such a great deal on Saturdays.

I agree Club Soso is such a change from LKF. People are more down to earth and friendlier over in TST.

I will hv to check out Club Soso - Saturday one day.

Totally agree with the friendly atmosphere in Soso.

Just watch out on some days as there can be more guys than girls there...
maybe because of the attractive drinking session for the boys, hehe.

Again, it depends on your timing.

What time of the night does it start getting good?

Past midnight is good.

I prefer to go from 12:30AM to 1AM to warm myself up.
