"HK Law does not prohibit prostitution. But it is illegal to solicit for business or advertise it using signs, or for third parties to derive income from someone's employment as a sex worker"

I'm no lawyer, but even I can see plenty of grounds for an appeal for a lighter sentence. !8 months in jail
is ridiculous    I just hope there's an appeal.  

In the meantime, the bastard businessmen and contractors in Sichuan who built sub-standard houses and
schools that collapsed at the first earth-tremor, killing thousands of people, will get off scot free.

The police  have their priorities completely wrong...

A guy who KILLED a pedestrian while driving under the influence ....was given 200 hrs community service !

And now these guys from Best161 are jailed !! W.T F. is going on ?

Seems us bro,s can manage sturdier erections than the pricks who built sub standard schools killing thousands of innocent school kids !!

HK is one o f the most hypocritical places on earth.  everyone is into everything, but they always go after the little guy.  How some of our tycoons made their first pot of gold (or subsequent ones) doesn't bear looking at - and some of them are still doing it (scorpion syndrome)

So why haven't the newspapers with WG ads in them for years left alone?..................

If I remember Best168 was closed down last year along with a few other similar sites (some have resumed operation...). Is this the culmination of the prosecution efforts against them?

Is the house this forum is built on resting on shifting sands? Anyone in Admin thinking about prepping a seperate independent location in case of an 'emergency'?

At the moment, for me the info posted here makes interesting reading only since I am not in HK, but I will sure miss its current information the next time I am HK-bound.
