Which internet browser do you use?

I realise this should probably be in the computing and electronics but I don't seem to be able to post there (am I being a bit thick?)  I've been using firefox in private browsing mode when using the 141 site but recently found that a firefox extension had a full historyof my monging searches.  I've tidied this up now and got rid of the extension and started using incognito in Chrome but I was wondering what other people use?  I'm aware of mobile firefox as well but just can't be bothered, perhaps I should.

Was there ever a computing and electronics section?
Bro jilluk98, this is a section to ask mongering related questions only. If you read the rules it would be wiser to post this in the chat section.  By the way, you can turn of that history cache.

I don't mean to post in the wrong section so could an administrator move the post to chat, I gather the electrons bit is no longer active..sorry

genuine question though as I thought I had no history of any sort being kept at the time as this was a pc used by more than just me so it was a little of a shock to find a record of my sites even though there was no history or cache kept.
Sirtiger, thanks for the reply but as a newbie as don't seem to access to that post

Just use Firefox.  I like Firefox private mode over Chrome because extensions still work.

One thing I don't like is that it kills your entire browser to go private mode instead of opening a new "private" window like Chrome does...

Plus and minus for both browsers...

I've got rid of it now but it was one of the video (youtube and other flash video) download helpers, it seemed to keep a completely separate history to the browser history even in private mode, didn't seem to work either.

This discussion is somewhat relevant if the bros want to ensure that all traces of mongering activities are gone.

I use Firefox with add on "BetterPrivacy". That add on remove flash based cookie. Privacy browsing is not enough.

chrome - just like it. Firefox used to be favourite, but the instant translate is so useful.
