Is it just me, or are clubs and bars now DARKER than before?

I usually frequent pretty local bars and clubs - and usually they're not exposed to the street.  however, what i've noticed lately is that they're a whole lot darker.  i can barely see peoples faces especially when i've had a few.  i almost have to be in a girls face to see her properly.

i don't think this was the case a few years ago, nor is it the case in other countries.  can someone confirm this for me?  it's driving me nuts to think i'm the only one who thinks this cuz everyone seems to party away like nothings wrong.

take ur sun glasses off when indoors

but some establishments have actually dimmed lights that i've frequent, due to 'creating a better mood'  or in other words save money on electricity lol

try a large glass of fresh carrot juice instead of a beer. It won't make ugly girls pretty like beer but you will be able to see better in dim lighting.

it's not my eyesight i swear! There's no way my eyes can change over a weekend (my first weekend back i noticed it, and i clubbed the week before in a different country)

but i'll try the carrots.

Its possible with whatever that happened in fenwicks is hard for the owners to control, and they've decided to keep the bars/clubs a little darker to ensure that the shadey activities actually stay shadey.
