Luxury watches thread

Other than spending alot of my hard earned on mongering, I also like to spend some of my wonga on watches.
Started in 2007, my watch collection now consists of

Omega Seamaster Professional Planet Ocean
Tag Heuer Aquaracer Calibre 5
Breitling Aerospace Avantage
Oris Divers Regulateur

Next on my list is a Panerai... love the PAM312 but may opt for the cheaper PAM112

Also, one day would like to add a Rollie to my collection.

Any other watch collector bros here?
Care to share your collection

I have a Rolex Submariner with a bimetal strap, get sick and tired of people here in Shanghai asking if it's a knock off!! Also got a couple of other nice ones that are significantly lower down the food chain and was given a very nice Burberry (not known for their watches) as a present.

Keep on mongering....

I have a omega seamaster 007 bond edition as well as a fake version. I bought the fake just for fun in shenzhen and its my hack watch. I examined the too and the differences are like night and day. But for the untrained eye and walking from a distance you can almost get away with it. I think the band on the real one scratches too easily, I have taken it to polish away twice already and I haven't had it for that long!

I also have a a hamilton khaki air watch with the black metal band. Its american as opposed to swiss. But I like the style and its less common than millions who wear omegas and rolexes.

The others are seiko's and for reading the time and doing sports like going to the beach. They are fine.

Think it's best to focus on some collectibles that would appreciate. Panerai is a good start and ROLEX (the older Daytona models) and Patek Philippe (particular the perpetual watches) are always in demand.

3. ball trainmaster GMT - i use this when i need dual time and the places i go to are not "very safe"
4. bulgari diagono pro - for the beach and swimming
5. jaeger lecoultre master compressor diving automatic navy seals - same use as #4
6. AP royal oak offshore safari

thinking about the Rollie, it always seems to Chinese to want the Rollie, at least from the people who always talk about getting one.

I tend to like the Sport watches from Rolex,
