I recently learned of these Vietnamese coffee shops that are all over places with a high Vietnamese American population.

So basically, you go into a 'Cafe', sit down and order a drink. Iced tea is standard and given to all customers. Any other drinks such as ice/hot coffee, juice, smoothies can be ordered as well. (No alcohol)

All the waitresses are dressed in bras and underwear, lingerie, bikinis, pasties, etc. Their job is to simply serve you drinks and refill your tea.

The place I visited charged a flat fee of 3 USD for tea or 4 USD for an additional drink. The place is usually filled with old men who sit there for hours on end.

I went during a busy time where two waitresses were wearing bras and a g-string, one was wearing a simple bikini. The older looking 'mamasan' who worked the register wore an orange mesh outfit with no underwear, and pasties.

The waitresses were lookers! They were all young (lower 20s) and looked like girls who could live next door.

It was a cool experience, I will definitely have to try other places. Though I hear many of these places are gang affiliated.

Like one of the waitresses said, it's like Asian Hooters but they only serve drinks. I wonder if the opposite would work... with muscular guys in tight boxers serving foods and drinks. Will that attract a bunch of women to the establishment? I shall name this restaurant Cocksuckers.

Some of the places allow smoking indoors, which is actually illegal in certain states of US.

And I have heard that some of the places in NorCal have had their waitresses wear less and less during busy hours to attract more customers. There are literally half a dozen different cafes within 2 blocks of each other.

I'd assume most of them are in Orange County near LA, since that has the largest Vietnamese population outside of Vietnam.

If not, my second guess would be San Jose, CA. That probably has the second largest Vietnamese population, but in a much denser area.

I use to frequent these viet cafe places a lot years ago. I have a really good friend that owned a few of them in socal. This idea started in California in little siagon. The girls that work there are usually pretty good looking. For some reason the Vietnamese girls in LA are so much hotter! It must be the water or something! Lol! I have not been to the cafe's in a while since I left Orange County. Maybe I should make a stop to my friends place when I go to LA in Nov.

As speedracer said, these started in California, I hear such places do not exist in Vietnam.

Once upon a time, takeout was available in the San Jose (NorCal) Cafes, but the cops put the kibosh to that quickly...say this was around 2003.

Right now...the favorite cafes of the locals in Little Saigon (Orange County CA) are Luu (Harbor/McFadden), Miss Cutie (Harbor/Westminister) and Temptation (Harbor/Bolsa). You do have 60 or so to choose from.

All have import car model/Playboy quality hotties...my personal preference is Miss Cutie, and I tend to stay at the same place...I'm not really trying to get laid, but funny how that $5 cup of coffee becomes a $210 or so one ...$5 for the coffee, $5 for the tip, and up to $200 for the session I'm going to have to have afterwards!

All the cafes have televised sports, UFC and other PPVs will be at least at one or two of them on any given night, and free wi-fi. The coffee of course, is strong, and can wake up the dead.

I thought about posting something a long time ago...but you can't get laid out of these places (unless you want to bankroll them, at $6-$10K/month ..so why aggravate yourself trying? They're a great hangout, the eye candy is a bonus...but don't frustrate yourself trying to go safecracking (unless of course, you have NBA Baller game, or the appropriate amount of felony convictions on your record )

as mentioned above, a good number exist in the east part of San Jose, which is a highly Vietnamese area, and in the Orange County area based in Westminster and Santa Ana, another bastion of Vietnamese.  Most of the places have blackened windows, though just like massage parlors, many have gone out of business due to public agency stings in recent years.

don't even think about getting laid in one of these places.  The Viet mafia boys are always hanging around.

LMAO, my friend who lives in garden grove was just telling me about these the other day and I was trying to picture it in my head... did not even think that there would be videos of them on youtube

Here in Texas where I am from the Chinese have opened a bunch of so called "tea houses" You pay a entry fee and choose the girl you like to serve you tea and then the girls will try to up sell you for other services. Since there have been a lot of massage parlors and spas that have been visited by the police recently in city wide crack downs. This is the work around that owners have come up with to be more discrete.

tea houses? that's an interesting twist to the business.  Although i would find it harder to work it up at a tea house than if they could serve alcohol and work it up that way

I been to Cafe Quyen in San Jose, CA. USA a bunch of times.  Usually there are two - three girls working at a time.   Be sure to drink plenty of the complimentary tea so they come back to refill for you, so you can get a better look at their "assets".  I can't say how many hours I stayed there, and just kept having to go to the bathroom from drinking all that watered down tea.  I do like how everything is the same price.  You pay the 4 dollars for whatever you order.  Fun if you and your buddies have nothing to do on a weekend.
