#1 Post at 9-11-2007 14:10  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Revenge on rude taxi drivers We've all had bad experiences with HK taxi drivers I would say 40% of them have a real attitude problem and I always end up fuming and slaming the door on them. Over the last year I've been doing the exact opposite and walk away with a smile on my face: Don't slam the door, gently close it so that the door lock only clicks the first time (meaning the door is not fully locked) depending on which door you exit from, the driver has to make an effort to reach over and shut the door properly - you can inagine what come out of their mouth when that happens ! Now if you'r lucky and and you exit from the rear, left passenger side then the driver may have to get out of the taxi in order to shut this door. This is because the taxi driver has a leaver next to his seat to open / colse this door but on some of the older taxis when the door is closed to the first click he cannot operate the door with this leaver ! I look forward to my next rude driver

Ever notice this...since the Taxi driver want to earn as much as they can on any short distance trip say < $30 fare. It occured to me that though they have arrived at the door step...they tend to overshoot or rather move forward a few metres just to hope that the Metre in front of them will increase for another $1.60......Now this time the Taxi driver is the highlander!!!... #6 Post at 10-11-2007 10:25  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L this is such a good thred. i mean they are so rude when i am on short trips. once, i asked the driver to stop the car and he kept driving. i said you missed the fucking turn. he turned around and said, do you know i couldn't hear you? fuck man. and the "move forward thing" yes.  they tend to go a little bit further and hoping the meter will increase by 1.6. sigh.... and you know, most of them are fucking lazy as well. they actually want to have an 8 hour day while all they do in the car is talk to their fucking friends, very annoying..... i wish i was in japan... but how much do they cost anyway?

But I always walk away with a smile !!!
