#1 Post at 5-8-2010 14:01  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L travel to hk, vaccine/shots? i plan on visiting hk soon. i went to the doctor today to get a checkup, and i asked him about getting the necessary shots to go to asia. he said that i didn't need any more, since i already got them when i also visited hk last year. he said its good for up to 10yrs. . . is this true??? from the ppl that i talked to, they get shots 1x a yr when they travel. i guess this question is more aimed towards the bros that visit hk frequently, do you guys get shots every yr, or no?

If you're heading to Africa, of course you're gonna need more shots than if you come to Hong Kong! COreect me if I'm wrong, but I think jabs for things like polio and mumps last for many years, even the 10 years your doctor said. Unless you're visiting Doctor Nick from the Simpsons, I would take his word for it. Even when I was in the UK, coming back to hk at least once a year, I don't get shots every year.
