STRIPPED of all of her outlandish accouterments, Lady Gaga gets down to her bare essence in the pages in next month's edition of Vanity Fair.
She told the magazine’s September issue, due to hit newsstands on Wednesday, that she keeps her creative mojo going by avoiding sex,* the New York Post reported.
“I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone, they’re going to take my creativity from me ...” said Gaga, who appears nude on the cover.
The 24-year-old pop star also admitted that, yes, she was drunk during her infamous appearances at Citi Field, where she flipped off New York Mets fans, and Yankee Stadium, where she crashed the clubhouse.
But she’s unapologetic, saying, “My real fans know who I truly am ... my music and my performance is what really speaks.”

I heard Lady Gaga does cocaine every so often.  I think she's more of an exobitionist/nudiest than a porn star.  An artist that feels her
body is her canvas, clay, or whatever moves her creativity.

hurh.. sex kills creativity?? If you ask me her whole thing, her persona she has created is fake.. made to build upon her music and performances. What do her crazy outfits do but garner attention and headlines =/ that fashion is crazy, Watch her performances before she 'became' Lady Gaga she isn't gaga at all, just seems normal; not that she isn't talented- I think she writes most of her stuff- but I think she's done it just to differentiate herself because everyone likes talking about an eccentric personality

She is really talented if she does write most of her stuff though. I like grunge and metal, but her songs do have some very catchy melodies.

it's probably just cause no one wants to fuck her and it's just some sorry excuse that she's using to save face. personally I think she's one ugly ass ho.

I think she is either:

1. Completely and utterly insane, or
2. a very, very good business-woman. The world is so small these days, particularly with the internet, but she still finds a way to stand out from the crowd!

Okay, it might be a combination of the two! (although her comments quoted above tend to support #1!)

She looked pretty hot in the " Poker Face" video (coming out of the water in the black bodysuit ), but since then she hasn't done much for me.

I agree, she's definitely a crazy attention whore but she knows how to make a name for herself, kind of similar to how Paris Hilton gained fame.

Yes - and Madonna before them.  In an era of so much competition I guess this is how they market and attract attention to their mediocre singing and 'core' act.

This article brought up two memories.

1) There was an episode of Seinfeld whereby George (the short balding buddy) was not allowed to fuck his gf for several weeks because she had mono.  Because of this enforced celibacy, his mind transfers all of its resources from thinking about sex 24/7 to learning new things.  George becomes this intellectual genius who is able to learn Portuguese in a few days, understand the hard sciences, etc.  Later on though he capitalizes on his Portuguese skills to seduce the waitress at his favorite diner and take her to bed.  Afterwards because of the sex, he is back to his normal idiot self.

2) I remember reading a factoid years ago that noted that practically most of the world's best (male) intellectual thinkers, artists, and geniuses came up with their best work before they got married.  Once married, they hardly produce any notable works.  I guess this is because once married they don't have to impress a chick to get sex anymore or they are being nagged daily to death.  

So there could be some common sense 'truth' that someone like Lady Gaga can only be creative when she 'avoids' sex.

Creative genius is manifests itself in youth not in celibacy. Einstein for example came up with all his original material when he was young and spent the rest of his life refining these ideas. How many musicians write all their material when they're young and spend their old age touring this material. Lennon and McCartney and a host of others wrote their best stuff under the influence of good old sex, drugs and rock & roll.

haha, yeah i remember the seinfeld episode. there was also one, where elaine didnt have sex for a while, and she started imagining things. lol i think it's true, well for us guys at least. ive read that athletes, particularly boxers, abstain from sex while training for a big match so they wont be distracted.

So what if it is fake, it's entertainment/stage persona/acting... As long as it is entertaining then it's all good. Who give's a shit whether that's her real personalty

I reckon its BS, with all the sexiness and sluttiness from her MV, I'm so sure she'll cave into it, some celebs would say anything just to get attention.
