A DOCTOR in South Africa has invented a female condom lined with teeth-like hooks and is handing them out at World Cup venues.
Dr Sonnet Ehlers invented the female condom known as Rape-aXe which will be available after the trial period for about $2 each.

The woman inserts the latex condom like a tampon and the jagged rows of hooks which line its inside attach on a man’s penis during penetration.
Once attached, only a doctor can remove the Rape-aXe and Dr Ehlers hopes this will allow authorities to easily make arrests.
"It hurts, he cannot pee and walk when it's on," she said. 

"If he tries to remove it, it will clasp even tighter... however, it doesn't break the skin, and there's no danger of fluid exposure."
Critics say the female condom is not a long-term solution and makes women vulnerable to more violence from men trapped by the device.
Victoria Kajja, a fellow for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Uganda also said the device constantly reminds women of their vulnerability.
"It not only presents the victim with a false sense of security, but psychological trauma," she added. 

"It also does not help with the psychological problems that manifest after assaults."
A report last year by the nation's Medical Research Council found that 28 percent of men surveyed had raped a woman or girl, with one in 20 saying they had raped in the past year.
In most African countries, rape convictions are not common as the DNA tests to provide evidence are unaffordable.
Dr Ehlers plans to distribute 30,000  free devices under supervision during the World Cup period.

The problem was most rapes aren't how we think of them they are by known persons and often boil down to one person's word vs another, the girl often doesn't want to be seen as a slag for instance.

BRITAIN's police watchdog blasted official handling of a case in which an innocent man was jailed for more than three years for a crime he did not commit.
Warren Blackwell, 40, was jailed in 1999 for a sex attack outside a social club. He was released in 2003 and his conviction was quashed on appeal in 2006, after new evidence undermined the credibility of the complainant.
A report published by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) unveiled a catalogue of errors made by Northamptonshire Police, in central England, that contributed to the miscarriage of justice.
Information the force failed to disclose included concerns expressed by an officer from another force to a detective about the alleged victim's reliability, saying previously she seemed to "enjoy police attention".
Notes taken by the detective referred to the complainant as "unreliable" and "unstable," but there was no evidence to show this information was ever passed to senior officers or the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
While Mr Blackwell was in prison, a detective failed to make senior officers and the CPS aware of more information about false complaints by the same woman.
There were also a large number of serious discrepancies in her accounts that were apparently not challenged by detectives.
Northamptonshire Police Deputy Chief Constable Derek Talbot apologised to Blackwell in person earlier this week.
But Mr Blackwell said it was "too little, too late".
"At the end of the day it was just a token gesture," he said.
"It's been frustrating, the length of time it has taken to draw a line under it, and I don't think I'm quite there yet."
He said the IPCC report was "damning" and that he was taking legal advice on whether or not to bring a damages claim against the force.

I don't think this will work. If u feel pain on ur penis, the erection is gone, so wouldn't it just slip off. And this condom is made of latex, can't u just cut it with sissors to remove it?

the crime should divided into two types -> planned and non-planned

for planned ones, this didn't work because he is planning for this. which means he is usually prepared to do it.

for non-plan, these guys are usually better strong or experienced. so it also doesn't work, maybe he can use a fake penis to insert first and pull out? because it should be easily to leave on attacker(otherwise think about jammed together).

even more, if this make attacker angry.. some other side effect may comes out. beating or killing for angry.

I agree that it will only provoke the bloke. Best we move back in time and reintroduce the chastity belt. Sometimes evolution needs to step backwards.

A virgin is someone who has not had penetrative sex... it does not mean a girl who's never had anything up her vagina.
