Where to stay on HK Holiday?

Hello Fellow Hobbyist,
I will be visiting HK end of this month and have not booked a hotel or apartment yet.
Does anyone have any advice for me?
I have been to HK a half dozen times, but I always stay with family.
Last trip i found the world of the sauna very pleasing, and noticed the walk up action, but never tried it.
This trip is going to be different. I'm bring a few buddies from home, I am ABC and they are a couple white boys.
Looking for a place to accommodate 3 dudes and good proximity to some good clean fun.
Please let me know if you have any ideas
Fellow Hobbyist

if you're looking to book ahead, then you can take a look at Priceline.com.hk or looked for a service apartment such as:
www.home2home.hk
empirestudio.biz
cityloft.com.hk
cozy.com.hk
just a search on google can bring up a few.. just need to look for them.. you'd need to select one or call/email them to figure which room could hold 3 guys with a private bathroom etc...

you can also look at this thread: http://forum.sex141.com/eforum/v ... &extra=page%3D1
there is a link in there for a site to some overnight guesthouses etc..

For rock bottom cheapness there is nothing like Chungking Mansions , middle of TST you have TST building acrross the road, Champs court B 5 minutes away, Jordan 15 minutes away JSL Lee and Observatory road 10 minutes away, amongst a ton of bars which aren't Wanchai priced!

Life is short very...

Book a room at BP International Hotel in TsimShaTsui.
Its right next to the subway station and centrally located.

Good thing is at this hotel you can get a room with 2 bunk beds to sleep a total of 4 people.
The hotel is a good quality one, not 5-star, but very good value. Westerners will have no problem with cleanliness there.

Indeed, your budget target would be helpful.  Another factor of course is what you are used to (or expecting) when you are travelling vis-a-vis accomodations.  The other factor is the activities you all will be looking at.  But do keep in mind so much in HK is just a jaunt away.

I've gotten spoilt while travelling for work and have a hard time staying at anything less than 4* but my budget usually tops out at US$200/night.  Priceline for HK isn't bad and you can always use on of the bidding history websites to see some record of prices and properties.

Seeing the world one WG at a time.

Stayed at the Mansions before. I can vouch for the great location. It really is 5 minutes from Everywhere.

I like the Crown Plaza Causeway Bay.  Nice location, great for getting to the MTR and brand new.  It is not so cheap but HG friendly and a great bar on the 28th floor with patio access to help seal the deal if you meet a NWG!

Usually stay in Langham Place in Mongkok. Right on top of a trendy shopping mall (not the expensive type), so there are lot's of cute, approachable girls. Attached to the building is a movie theater, and right across the street from mongkok subway station. Food is generally very good. Street level has got to be one of the more crowded places though. If you don't mind that, can't go wrong.

a better option near this hotel is the Holiday Inn Express behind Times Square. it is much closer to the MTR, rooms quite new, and comes with free internet (useful for doing research on 141) and breakfast.

type in google holiday inn express causeway bay and it should lead you to the booking site.

If you want to save time to reach the hotel girls, you can sleep in a hotel on Kimberley Rd. There are many WGs working there.

Some good recommendations here.
I just want to give me 2 cents -- I would say that you don't need to spend too much money on a nice hotel since you'll most likely spend most time outside.  Just go for a average nice/simple/decent room and you should be fine.  Plus the more you save, the more you can afford on nice gals right?

Langham Place in Mongkok is a good place to stay, its not too expensive but quality is good.

I also like the Marco Polo hotels in TST, those are always good and you can get them at a reasonable price depending on the season.

Also suggest that whereever you stay, you stay close to/along MTR stations to make life easier in getting around town mongering. I often find MTR more useful than buses, just because all the maps and help you can get from MTR makes finding directions/locations easier.

I've started booking my trips to HK with Agoda.com.

It seems to get me pretty good deals on hotels. Last time I stayed at the Metropark Wanchai (the one with the bird flu outbreak) for ~60USD/night. Excellent deal. I highly recommend that hotel! It's located so f'ing close to the subway station and is very centrally located.
