Some of you might have noticed a certain woman’s face on all the newspapers last Friday and wondered who she was. Well, her name is Tina Leung (alias Di-la) and she is one of the greatest women ever to hail from Hong Kong.

You see, Tina was a “porn star” in the 60s, as she was the first woman in Hong Kong film history to strip naked for a movie scene. But the awesomeness continues: later in life Tina became a communist and went up north for China’s Cultural Revolution. She was also the first person to declare bankruptcy in Hong Kong. Years later, using her connections in the motherland, she somehow got involved in the aerospace/satellite business, and also participated in the famous Galileo project. Oh, and did we mention she was a spy?

It was reported that she was worth over a billion. Detailed bio in English here. Tina died at the age of 65. Her brain and boobs will be remembered.

i had actually not known about her until i listened to an hk radio show the other day. she is definitely hk's first sex goddess or sex symbol, probably the equivalent of an hk marilyn monroe. but what she's done in her life is truly amazing, not just a pioneer, but one that is smart and knows how to use all the tricks to fulfill her agenda

That sex scene from the 60's is very classy, so much better than what we see on the screens these days.  If I remember correctly, some of the adult movies of the 70s were really fun to watch, they seem so uninhibited back then.  Real work went into the stories and the production values.  I think because back then, HK didn't really have the current classification system as it does now, it was more free for all.
