A NEW trend in DB pics?

As you can see in the attached pics, relatively speaking at least, a total lack of Photoshopping... could this become a new trend? That would be great! Link below to the girl's page.

Should get Goose to teach the photographer on how to take pics as they are really underexposed

I actually prefer these pictures and hopefully what you see is what you get. The girl hardly has any make up on. Perhaps 141 decided they didn't need a professional photographer/make up artists and just took pictures with a compact camera. Hope this trend continues.

Outstanding!

The cynic in me thinks she probably just didn't have time to get PS'd pics, but let's hope otherwise and that this trulyis the start of something beautiful!

certainly looks like a compact camera - with an underpowered direct flash ...

have to say I also like the authentic style!

I think this new trend appeals to the people who are sick of tired of surprises when you go and meet the WG.  What you see is what you get for these non-PSed girls.  Hopefully only those who are truly beautiful decides to use it.

Actually, the poor quality of the Pic makes it hard to photoshop. The shadows generated by the direct flash and the harsh highlights on the face has obviously not been brushed over. Think this girl is very cute and some bros here would've already made appointments for her so we shall know soon enough.

Maybe the photoshop guy / photographer got laid off or left their job which I cannot fathom why they would do that?  This is a dream job for me.

Camera used to take these pictures was:

Panasonic DMC FX30 f2.8 ISO 125 Flash auto red-eye 1/30 sec

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The photographer should have used a higher ISO like 200 to 400 and more background lighting. I think he/she just used the "auto mode" for the pictures. Yes, it's too dark.

I understand this part but had thought that once you upload the photo, all the info, exposure, ISO and camera make would be deleted. Guess this is not the case then.

Save the picture then click on "properties". When the meta data ( information ) is not there
that usually means the picture was modified or edited.

For some older pictures they have used Photoshop CS2, Canon PowerShot G6, Canon PowerShot G5, Sony DSLR-A350, and Sony DSLR-A100. For a picture taken late 2009, they used a Canon EOS 50D and Canon EOS 40D, I might have missed a few.

In my opinion, either the person doesn't know how to take pictures, the person wanted to hide her flaws or really doesn't care.

There was a report last year on iPhones also storing GPS data with the photo file as well.

Are there any cameras that will also store the owner's name of the camera on the pic?   Like: "Jeeve's Powershot Date 28-5-2010 Location "   That would be bad . . .

I now rip out all the metadata from my jpegs before I post now. Is there any way to disable this function in our camera.

Sorry I don't know about your camera in specific if it is possible. Each camera might be different.

Usually when you edit your photos to downsize them, the metadata is gone when re-saving.  BTW, can I ask what type of camera you are using for your pictures ?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JPEG and PNG Stripper is the program to get that metadata out of photos you intend to pass along to others. You might recognise that JPEG and PNG are the two most common photo and graphic formats these days in common use for personal photos and PCs, both.JPEG and PNG Stripper is super easy to use. Point it to a folder of photos and click Clear. You can add it to the Windows Explorer right-click list to make it even easier. Click on Freeware, then on Misc to find JPEG and PNG Stripper at its home page of http://www.steelbytes.com.

Yes I'm using that software currently. It's easy to use and a no brainer.

As for re-sizing, I'm not sure if that will in itself get rid of the metadata, I'm sure I did that before and posted in the Chinese Forumn and it still shows the camera details.

I'm using the GF1 with the pancake lens. Want to replace that lens but the one I want (Panasonic Leica) is very expensive. I can get other types (non Micro) and just attach it to my GF1 with a adapter but it won't auto-focus, need to manually focus and can be a bit dodgy with my old tired eyes.

The GF1 with the pancake lens is what I use with some of the pictures I've posted in this forum. Great for low lighting situations. Also use an iPhone 3G sometimes when I forget my camera. Think the iPhone takes acceptable pictures if you can keep your hands and the subject still and it's less intrusive for the girl. The GF1 is great but the salesman in the camera shop advised me not to get the Leica adapter even though I have several Leica lenses. The adapter is not cheap and once you have it, will find it a bit cumbersome using lenses from other manufacturers. Have you used the GF1 with lenses from other manufacturers?
