#4 Post at 10-1-2010 07:30  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L I have never seen this game before.  It looks like the chinese version of chess.  However it doesn't look like the western chess pieces I'm accustom to using.  Are the rules and play for this game the same as the western version?  What do they call it in Chinese?

#11 Post at 18-1-2010 18:14  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L my SZ friend who is a chess instructor says that either Xinhua bookstore or Book City bookstore may have it.  For sure they'll have the non-computer boards, and for sure they'll have software for Xiangqi.  The Xinhua bookstore definitely has Western-style chess computer boards. So here's an excuse to get over to SZ....
