One of the reasons that I prefer the English forum is that there are far less lame-ass replies from teenage boys. Go onto the 141 Chinese forum, or pretty much any Hong Kong based forum, and you'll be inundated with replies like "Thanks for sharing".  Half the time, they can't even be bothered to write "Thanks", and just put "Thx". Luckily these credit leeches normally get their karma taken away quite quickly over here, but those posts still creep through. Question:  Which of the above posts annoys you the most? Feel free to add more below

The 'great report' and 'thanks for sharing' comments, tho annoying, can at least be ignored; but the DATY and WG-love threads concern matters of consequence and invariably give rise to the same tired arguments that I find hard to walk away from because they either contain factual errors, in the case of DATY, or nonsensical and vicious generalizations about WGs - and so the same battles get fought all over again. princeandnpg is spot on about the Chinese side of the forum, btw. 99% of the posts in the Report section are absolute rubbish. #7 Post at 13-8-2009 09:28  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Reply #5 Thai-delight's post A lot depends on who's asking and how they ask.   If it's obvious they've read the DB and understood the situation, but are looking at a specific angle that's either new or they didn't understand, that's OK.  It just gets boring when we know the information's already there and can be found with some searching and reading.  Anyone deserves a second chance - the most irritating posters are the ones that ignore feedback or think "freedom of speech" means "get away with causing havoc".   I hate to say it but admit I'm in Mars' camp when it comes to busting misinformation and myths. Hear Ye!  The Mayor has spoken!
