Our little forum has passed a big milestone.
For the first time ever, if you had a dollar for every member registered on the eForum, then you would have a grand total of HK$30,000
For those of us who didn't study mathematics, that means that there are 30,000+ members!
Why is that so impressive? Think about it this way, if every member of the forum spent a modest HK$3xx on a WG this weekend, we would have generated upward of HK$10 million for our beloved service providers. A year of moderate monthly mongering would provide over $100 million for thousands of rural families. Surely that is good reason for members to give themselves a collective pat on the back.
On the other hand, it seems quite strange that, for a forum with 30,000 members, we only have 11,000 threads. That means that there are less than 0.3 threads per member. In total there are 136,000 unique posts, which may sound like a lot, but it is in fact 4.5 posts per member, on average.
When you consider the few dozen super-members with hundreds of posts each you can draw a quick conclusion, our next milestone may be becoming the forum with the biggest lurker community in the history of the Internet
Please start posting guys, and don't you dare start with "Thx for sharing"
