I agree with cnf, though she may be academically priviledged it may not mean she's got common sense. If one person says it works, she may wonder but if more than one says it works then it MUST be the truth!
As for the nutritional value of semen, I seem to remember from my school days that, there was a reasonable amount of protein and sugars (source of energy for the little soldiers) but none of significant quantity to make any changes to the appearence of the skin.
