Just got back from BJ actually. It's definitely the place to be for those interested in looking at stone walls and old wooden buildings. Not much other action around as far as I could see. Putonghua here is so heavily accented that it's virtually impossible to comprehend You really need a local guide as there's no website like sex141 to guide you around

Never been to Shanghai but I think someone (puffdaddy?) did mention the saunas there being quite nice?

Shanghai is a great city they say. especially bar rouge:

http://www.xs2china.com/en/cityg ... /bar_rouge.113.html

With this mobile application you can let your mobile say the adress in Chinese so you can go to bar rouge.

that's what read in another website about bar rouge

expensive? hmmmmm........................................

compared to standards in China or other parts of the wold?

if a beer costs about US$10, then it is not really that expensive

wondering how much a bottle of XO would cost?

A botte in Bar rouge will coast u about 90 euro. A bottle of cristal 50, a beer indeed 10USD.

So i guess it's not uber expensive but still, for China.. VERY expensive, you're able to eat for a week for the price of a bottle of Wodka.

Guys,

I now saw what you actually can do on www.xs2china.com (or www.xs2theworld.com).
you can download a sort of mobile traffic guide for 5 Chinese cities, with spoken adresses for non Englisch speaking taxi drivers. Also 300 chinese spoken daily phrases so you can let your mobile do the talking for you (*and even try to learn some Chinese). I installed it on my Nokia N70; great.. (it's still free for a few weeks)

Only: i miss the phrase where you can ask where the 'tipical Chinese heardress shops' are

i downloaded it on the website www.xs2theworld.com (or www.xs2thailand.com, i forgot)
Works on my Nokia 6680.

Great to hear a voice out of the speaker on your mobile, and i think there's a good overview of restaurants and clubs of Bangkok in it.
