These places have many small shops that carry replacement screens and can repair on the spot.

#6 Post at 24-7-2013 22:15  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L try any pof the phone repair shops in Apliu Street Shamshuipo, i cracked my note 2 screen, got it fixed for HK$800...majority of shops there doing repairs quoted betwee 800-1000 2 to 3 hrs for the repair just make sure you take out your sim card etc to make sure thats safe, nobody clones it

#11 Post at 5-8-2013 05:35  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Went to phone shop and got quoted 1800hkd.  Guy told me not to go to SSP but went anyways.  Came out of the subway and found a store but they dont do repairs and he pointed to a guy in a street stal.  He was working on another smartphone and seemed relatively competent, but not like I would know.   He quoted 700 to change just the screen and he keeps the spare part.  There is the lcd screen and the base it sits on so I think he either getsmor screens from china or sells the base, either way, thats where the savings comes from.  I asked for his card but he ran out.  HHe's the first stall out of the SSP exit that is ar the southern end of apliu street.  the prospect of saving 1100 made me pull the trigger.   Hope no one else needs this. Thanks for all the help.   Phone works fine. ... keeping fingers crossed.
