best mobile phone network in HK

Hi guys
I'm gonna be in HK on holiday for a few weeks soon and will need a pay as you go sim card for my phone. I want to be able to use it to go online to check the websites and google maps when I'm out.

What's the best way to do this? Last time I was in HK someone gave me a wifi gadget to send a wifi signal to my phone but this was less than ideal. I would rather have a pay as you go sim with 3G mobile internet included. At the time there was no network I could find that this this unless I took out a contract, which obviously I don't want when I'm only there for a few weeks.

Thanks

Loose

edit: I think you guys call this sort of sim - "prepaid"

I used to have a one2free power prepaid sim. it's cheap to call most international numbers, $.3 HKD / min. The data is $78 HKD/ week.

Here is the link. http://one2free.hkcsl.com/jsp/pr ... s/card_features.jsp

You can get one2free prepaid SIM card at the airport right after you land, $100 credit including the SIM to put in your phone. Like vinny mentioned, it's $78hkd/wk for 3G data so if you need more than one week, you'll have to get refill voucher/top ups which can be easily purchased at any 711 or CircleK shops in town (or just get them at the airport shop). Do note the airport shop is actually on the departure level though. Details here » http://www.beready.net/travel/ho ... -hong-kong-airport.
