The article from the Times I regret to inform you is utter nonsense. There was no water rationing at all. If anything, the Macau Govt would cut the water supply to the saunas first. There was never any danger of water rationing. It was just the Water Company run by a French group trying to raise the price for supplying water to all hotels. There was never any disruption and eventually the Govt stepped in and told the French to Fuc* off as it was just posturing by the French which amounted to nothing more than a shakedown. Don't like the French myself, think they're a bunch of crooks but they do produce great wine.
