#3 Post at 1-12-2010 17:30  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L There are so many die hard Apple fans out there.  I'm sure there would be plenty of Apple addicts that will buy it.  Apple hasbuilt up such a huge following that if they slap the Apple logo on anything, people would line up to get it. #6 Post at 3-12-2010 11:07  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L I totally agree with you.  It's all about having the latest apple gadget no matter what it is.  It's not to the point that if Steve Jobs slapped a apple logo on a brick and people would buy it.  but it's almost to that point.  Related to my post above.  I remember people predicted the Ipad was going to tank.  It ended up not being so and Apple made huge profits.

If im not mistaken during the early years of apple (more specifically the Macintosh) they released a tv ad that basically conveyed the message that apple is going to something different, something that doesnt stick to conformity (ergo not windows LOL) and it sold well. And it continues to do that today by leading the tech industry with its innovative products. Case in point the iphone and ipad, now every tech company is scrambling to capture (recapture) that market. Speaking of which i do hope the samsung galaxy is nice....

Jobs is known as one of the biggest hard asses in the biz, particulary with people in his own company. But I still respect what he's achieved for himself and for Apple the company. It seems in this business(as in many others) you don't get to the top by being a nice guy
