But I think it is even more sad for the wife or girlfriend beside him... making love without love. You can argue the guy may really like her, but in her point of view when she is in the routine sex, there is always doubt.....

It's related to sleepwalking. Feel sorry for them because despite being asleep they don't get rested and its something totally out of their control
